The licenses of all Shanghai pilots have been withdrawn by the harbourmaster, following the pilots’ declaration of a strike for higher rates, states a Shanghai message. Shipping is seriously hampered, and harbour tugs are escorting to port many vessels held up outside the WhangPoo River.
