ROBBER SHOT DEAD
Garage Man Acts Swiftly FACED ARMED INTRUDERS (Roc. July 7, 8 p.m.) Sydney, July 7. Three men attempted to rob a motor garage at Blaxland early this morning. Norman Price, aged 41, a returned soldier and the owner of the garage, challenged the trio, one of whom fired a revolver, wounding Price in the left arm.
Price rushed for a gun. He saw the three men running away, fired both barrels, and shot one man dead. His two companions escaped.
