HORTICULTURE IN HUTT
Annual Meeting of Society At the twenty-ninth annual meeting of the. Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, In the Council Chambers, Lower Hutt, the president, Mr. D. 8. Patrick, presided over an attendance of nearly one hundred members. The report and balance-sheet, already published, were adopted. The following dates were decided upon for shows:—Spring Show, September J 8 and 17; Rose Show, November 25; Midsummer Show, February 12; Autumn Show, April 17 and 18. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —Patron and patroness, bls Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe; president, Mr. Norman B. Gibbons; secretary, Mr. A. J. Nicholls; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. J. Poole; bon. auditor, Mr. W. G. Alexander.
