BATTLE OF BANNOCKBURN

Anniversary Celebrated The six hundred and seventeenth anniversary of the battle of Bannockburn was celebrated by the Hutt Caledonian Society in the Orange Hall, Petone, with highland dancing, old-time and modern dancing and songs. An address on the “Battle of Bannockburn was also given by Mr. Roy.. Chief W. Marshall presided over a big gathering, which included a number of visitors from ■ Miss’Tovey danced a Highland fling, Miss Marshall a Seantriubhais and a Dutch dance, and Miss Burnett a swori dance. Mrs. Millward sang °° min Thru the Rye” and Robin Adair.
