NEW WOOL STORE

Reconstruction at Napier BIG CONTRACT LET By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, June 25. An amount of £23,468 is involved in the erection of Messrs. Williams and Kettle's new wool store at Port Ahnriri. Contracts of £20,470 for the construction and £2998 for the fabrication and fixing of the steel have been let to two Napier firms, and the work will start immediately. The building is to be finished in fifteen weeks. The new store will have a floor space amounting to li acres on each of the two stories. This building is the first of several either to be .erected with extensions or repaired, in order to provide for next season’s wool clip. The contract went - to a Napier man in competition with firms from all over the North Island.
