Miss E. L. Paterson, of the Ohingaiti school, is an inmate of the Wanganui Public Hospital. Mrs. F. Blundell and Miss Blundell, New Plymouth, are visitors to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Cameron and Miss Cameron are visiting Napier. Mrs. W. Glasgow has returned to “Invermaille,” Turakina, from a visit to Wellington. Miss Hilda Higgie returned this week to Wanganui, after several years spent in England and Scotland. She is the guest of her sister, Mrs. O. Hales, Wicksteed Street. Mrs. Dorothy Christie and Miss H. Marshall are Wanganui visitors to Auckland. Miss R. Honeyficld has returned to Patea, after visiting Mrs. T. Wright at Raetihi. The Wanganui Girls’ College Old Girls’ Association has decided to alter the date of its annual ball from July IS to July 23. It will be held at the Elrick Rooms, and there will be a limited number of tables for bridge. Mrs. Gill-Carey, formerly of Wanganui, who has been living in London for some years, is now in Wanganui visiting her mother, Mrs. R. C. Earle, Aramoho. Miss Harris, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. Atkinson, Pirinoa, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs. Turner, Pori, and her infant, daughter are the guests of Mrs. A. Beetham, “Ardsley,” Masterton Mrs. Moser, of Masterton. is staying with her sister, Mrs. Trevor Thomson, Auckland. Airs. 11. R. Thomas has returned to Wellington after a holiday spent at Masterton.
