In order to prevent congestion at the doors to-morrow night, when Mischa Levitzki opens his season at the Town Hall, the B. J- Gravestock management announce that unreserved tickets w-ill be on sale both to-day and to-morrow at the Bristol. The phenomenal success that attended the first Levitzki tour of New Zealand in 19-1 is still fresh in the memory ot music lovers, and there is every inudication that the brilliant pianist will receive a great welcome back to Wellington to-morrow night at the Town Hall. . ... After Levitzki’s final concert in Sydney tlie critic of the “Daily’Telegraph” Wrote: "Once again the genial Russian captivated Sydney audiences with the magnificence of his technique and the poetry and power of his interpretations. The programme last night was built upon ‘requests.’ Ho blazed his way triumphantly through two Beethoven sonatas, a long series of Chopin pieces, and other works by Brahms, Debussv, Ravel, Liszt, and, of course, his own delightful watlz. The audience went on ‘requesting’ until well after 11 o'clock.” The programme for to-morrow’s concert will include:—Organ Toccata and Fugue in D Minodr (Baeli-Tausig). Melodic from "Orpheus” (Ghick-Sgambati). “Appassionuta” Sonata (Beethoven), Nocturne in F Sharp Minor. Etude. “Butterfly” Etude, Etude, “Black Keys” Etude. .Scherzo in C Sharp Minor (Chopin), Waltz in A Flat, Jeux d'Eau (Have)). Waltz in A Major, Op. 2 (Levitzki) and Hungarian Rhapsody No. G (Liszt).
