Napier Demolition Worker fl CLEARING QUAKE DAMAGE By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, May 30. A man, believed to be T. Smith, was killed yesterday afternoon by falling from the top story of Parker’s Building, a structure which was gutted by fire after t’-e earthquake. Men were engaged in removing steel girders from the top story, and Smith fell to the bottom floor. _ His back was broken, and his skull injured. Another man, Arthur Hughes, broke his ankle when leaping from a ladder to avoid a falling wall in another building this morning.
