STORM TO SUNSHINE

A Variable Week-end Saturday in Wellington was wet and squally, with drenching rain showers. The wind was strong from the north. Yesterday the weather cleared and there was bright sunshine from mid-forenoon. The wind was still northerly. The evening was mild and calm. The weather at Auckland was unsettled during the week-end. The weather was sunny and warm in Dunedin on Saturday, with a strong wind from the north-east. The barometer fell quickly during the day, but rose on Saturday night.
