MAYOR’S HONORARIUM

10 Per Cent. Cut at Auckland Dominion Special Service. Auckland, May 21. When the honorarium of the mayor for the ensuing two years came to be fixed by the City Council, the deputy-mayor, Mr. A. J. Entrican, moved that it be at the former figure of ,£5OO a year, subject to a 10 per cent, cut, which, he stated, the mayor desired to be made. “That is not in order; the Arbitration Court has not made a 10 per cent, cut yet,” said Mr. T. Bloodworth, with a smile. The motion was carried.
