Married Women Teachers

By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, May 19.

The Nelson Education Board unanimously passed the following motions: — (1) That all married women teachers, widows excepted, now in the service of the board be given three months’ notice, as from June 1, of the termination of their engagement. (2) Should any teacher consider her circumstances to be of such nature as entitle her to special consideration, full particulars are to be forwarded to the board.
