A close and exciting match between the Waiwetu and Titahl ladies’ golf clubs on 1 lie Waiwetu links on Saturday ended in a draw, caclr side winning three games, and the remaining two finishing all square. The following are the results, the Waiwetu players being, mentioned first: —Mrs. Evison lost to Miss Wilsofi. 5 and 3: Miss Robiuson beat Miss White, 5 and 4; Mrs. Pyne-and Miss Davis, all square: Mrs. .Hyan-and Miss Turner, all square:;Airs. Riddlot lost to Miss Batham. 3 and 2: Miss Mills lost to Miss Cooney. 6 and 5; Miss Milne beat Miss Wemyss. 7 and 5: Miss Cochrane beat Miss Buucohall. 6 and 4. I The winners of the L.G.U. competition held during tlie week-end were as -follow: Senior. Miss Turner: junior. Mrs. Hughes. Mrs. Hughes was the winner of the silver button for the best net score.
