Monthly and Quarterly Figures During last month 184 births, 67 deaths and 113 marriage notices were registered at the office of the registrar of births, marriages and deaths, Wellington, the respective figures for the same month last year being 171, 100 and 200. • Marriages by the registrar last month numbered 36, and in April last year 50 ceremonies were performed. Quarterly figures, with comparative figures for the same quarter last year, are as follow: Births, 568 (630) ; deaths, 274 (250) ; marriage notices, 371 (389) ; marriages by registrar, 88 (96).
