Position Outlined \ The mayor of Eastbourne. Mr. H. M. Jones, in the account of his stewardship to the largely-attended meeting of residents in the borough on Thursday made use of figures prepared by the town clerk. Mr. C. L. Bishop, and given in his annual statement to the council. The figures were comparative, showing tho position also as at March 31, 1930. During 1930-31 the buses ran 254,900 miles, as against 235,700 miles for 1029-30.
