KELBURN VIADUCT

Official Opening To-morrow CUTTING THE RIBBON At 3 p.m. to-morrow (Saturday) the new Kelburn viaduct is to be ojteued by the Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup). The speakers will be Mr. Troup, Mr.- R. A. Wright, M.P. (chairman of the works committee), Councillor M. F. Luckie (Deputy-Mayor), and Mr. A. E. Batt (president of the Wellington Automobile Club). A ribbon will be stretched across the entrance to the new bridge, and at the conclusion of the addresses Mrs. Troup will be called upon to cut the streamer, and the Mayor will formally declare the new viaduct open for traffic. The Mayoral car will then make the passage of the bridge, followed by the cars of councillors and other people present. .
