A delightful concert of vocal and instrumental items was given by the pupils of Airs. J. G. Fieldhouse in tbc assembly hull al St. Matthew's Collegiate School for Girls on a recent afternoon. Items were given by Barbara Barton, Leslie Beet ham, Elizabeth Cull ins, Margaret Lpw, Betty and Nora Robinson. Nancy Slewart, and Ihe primary and secondary singing classes. Following an address by Captain Al. C. Galloway, of Wellington, a meeting at Pahiatua. convened by the Pahiatua Women’s institute and presided over by tlte mayor, Ah'. .1. D.
