Nelson’s Apple Export By Telegraph-Press Association. Nelson, April 29. The liner Port Hobart is at present loading 48,000 cases of apples, and at the same time 7000 cases daily are being forwarded to Wellington for shipment to the Continent. Of the quantities already shipped, 169,000 cases are Jonathans, and 137,000 Delicious. Stumers are expected to produce 280,000 cases. It is anticipated that Nelson s total export this season will reach 820,000 cases.
