FAREWELL TEA
A delightful morning party was given last Thursday by Miss Helen Marchbanks at the D.I.C. tea rooms for Miss Mary Preedy, who left on Friday for England, vid Sydney. i Miss Marchbanks, who wore a fawn tailored costiimc, met her guests in the lounge. Miss M. Preedy was wearing an all-green suit. The table looked most summery With its decorations of crimson and yellow roses. Opportunity was taken to wish Miss Preedy and her sister ‘‘buon viaggio” and a quick return. Among those present were Misses S. Preedy, Violet Vogel, Daisy Blaggs, Dahlia Drinkwater, Cushla O’Flagau, Minnie Mouat.
