A photograph of six of the early surveyors of the Wairarapa, taken in May. 1868,. by Mr, J. D. Wrigglesworth, a Wellington photographer of those days, is in the possession of Mr. T. M. Drummond, an old Gteytown resident, who is now in his 85th year (states a “Dominion” special service message from Masterton). Mr.. Drummond is the only survivor of the group, which includes Messrs.
