SHOPS BROKEN INTO
Young Men Charged
Three young men appeared before Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. charged with breaking, enterinc. and theft at Kilbirnie. and were remanded for a week. They were Samuel Joseph Pomeroy, labourer, 21; Frederick Sven Lamberg. joiner. 27; and Robert John Pomeroy, packer, 21. They were charged with breaking and entering the Star Stores, Coutts Street. Kilbirnie, and stealing groceries and tobacco to the value of 114 10/-. Lamberg and Robert Pomeroy were also charged with breaking, entering. and theft at Kilbirnie. the value ot the' goods in this instance amounting to £BO/19/8. , 3 . No evidence was offered, ana a remana «a all eharse* ordered.
