PREMIER’S LIST £257,626 Additional Donations The Prime Minister’s fund for earthquake relief totalled £257,626 up to last evening. The largest donation yesterday was £lOOO from the Hawera committee. The Mayor’s list aggregated £38,813 yesterday afternoon. It Included a donation of £224 from the Lyall Bay relief committee. This committee was very successful in. its local appeal, and had free use of the Katea Hall and assistance from the picture theatre. Following are details of the funds up to date, with yesterday’s donations: — Prime Minister’s Fund .... 257,636 The Mayor’s list 88,813 Red Cross list 4,764 “Evening Post” list 4,829 “The Dominion” list 2,164 PRIME MINISTER’S FUND
