EASTER EXCURSION

Wahine to Go to Picton Easter Monday holiday-makers will have the chance this year of a run across tho strait to Picton and of seeing some of the beauties of Queen Charlotto Sound. The AA’aMne is announced to leave AVellington at 8 in the morning on that day for Picton, where she should arrive about a quarter to eleven, a great part of the trip being in calm water in AVellington Harbour or the Sounds. ' For passengers who wish to go to Blenheim, the Railway Department will run a special train, which will leave Picton after , the arrival of the AVahine and get back before she leaves again, after giving time in Blenheim for lunch and seeing friends. Special launches will also run to some of tlie beauty spots about the Sound, in some cases lunch being Obtainable at accommodation houses nearby. An attraction to some will be a Rugby football match bowteen the Poneke Club from AVellington and a Marlborough team. The Wahine will leave Pieton on the return trip a little after 2 p.m., and will arrive in AA’ollington about 5 p.m.
