NEW BUILDING SOON

Free Ambulance Headquarters After some months of delay, it now seems likely that the Wellington Free Ambulance will secure its site for the proposed new building and that a start will be made in building operations before long. As far as the site is concerned, it was stated at the City Council meeting last evening by Councillor Mitchell that the Fire Board had no intention of asking for it. and as soon as written advice to that effect is received the Mayor said he would call a special meeting of the coti'neil to discuss giving it to the Free Ambulance.
