WAR TROPHIES LOST
Nine-roomed House Burned By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne. March 19. Fire completely destroyed a nine-room-ed house owned by Mr. T. Preston, and occupied by his manager, Mr. R. Grayson, at Manutuke. A fine collection of war trophies ami many valuable paintings were lost. The insurances are held by the New Zealand -office, and are as follow: £lOOl on the house. £550 on the contents, and £5O on a piano.
