HANGMAN ACTOR
Canada’s official hangman, Arthur Ellis, has received an offer to appear in an American cinema production. It is desired that he should supervise the erection of u scaffold and perform the duties of an executioner in a realistic picture of prison life. Ellis, who has carried out more than 400 executions, refuses to say whether ho will accept the offer.
