Share Prices Advance On Sydney ’Change GENUINE EXPANSION By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Rec. March 11, 8 p.m.) Sydney, March 11. Share prices are still strongly advancing, and the volume of genuine business continues to expand. Appreciation in Federal loans is steady and banking securities, too, have firmed, although sellers are most difficult to locate. The turnover today was the best for mouths. Pastoral stocks have soared owing to the announcement that wool has risen by 15 to 20 per cent, in London. RATE OF EXCHANGE Better New Zealand Outlook (Rec. March 11, 9.30 p.m.) London, March 11. The “Financial News” notes an improvement in the New Zealand exchange position. While reduction is unlikely, it says, there is no reason to suppose that a raising will be necessary. The trade balance, it observes, is rapidly regaining equilibrium. The paper commends the measures taken to meet the crisis.
