The “Financial News” notes an improvement in the New Zealand exchange position. While reduction is unlikely, it says, there is no reason to suppose that a raising will be necessary. The trade balance, it observes, is rapidly regaining equilibrium. The paper commends the measures taken to meet the crisis.
