DENIAL FROM FORD

Rubber-growing Continues NOT EVACUATING BRAZIL Detroit, February 3. A message published yesterday stated that Brazil’s dream of the conquest of the Amazon jungles through the efficient exploitation of its rubber resources bv Mr. Henry Ford appeared to have collapsed. Advices from Para stated that Mr. Ford, after spending millions, was unable to combat the native anagonism to efficiency methods, and was giving up his experiment on the Tapajos River.
