INVALID’S INGENUITY

Three years ago Mr. Henry Devin, a partner in a Foiulon business, was stricken by a painful disease which confined him to his home. Undaunted, lie decided to take up a hobby. During (lie three vears lie has built a model railway that is a veritable masterpiece. In his garage lie has erected a railway system containing a hundred yards of miniature track. A little bike is spanned by a bridge Bft. in length which weighs 201 b., and took five months to construct. The whole system is electrically, operated and six engines, all beautifully constructed, haul model trains over 11. A wonderful switchboard controls the system. Standing before it the inventor can set his trains in motion, increase, or decrease their speed, and perform elaborate shunting operations. There is also a complete system of signals and signal-boxes also controlled from a central board.
