Where Sand is Becoming a Nuisance— Worser Bay, one of Wellington’s most popular seaside resorts, where the sand nuisance is becoming a serious problem to residents in the vicinity of the beach. The sand is continually being blown across the roadway, especially around the cleared patch on the left of the bathing shed. A deputation from the Seatoun and Bays’Progressive Association waited on the City Council yesterday in regard to the sand menace, and also in regard to the practice of parking motor-cars on both sides of a none-too-wide road. -Photo courtsey of Palmer and Mahood, Ltd.
