NATIONAL FLOWER SHOW
To-morrow and Friday there will be held in the Town Hall a flower show, the first of Its kind in New Zealand. Advantage has been taken of the first national conference of all the horticultural bodies in New Zealand to hold a combined show. Besides the ordinary exhibits, there will be a number of trade displays, each occupying 100 ft. of space. The centre of the stage will be occupied by a display froju the Wellington Floral Exchange with made-up work. The Garden Circle of the Pioneer Club will also make a display from among Its members. , , , Judges for the show will be the visiting directors of parks and reserves. The show will be officially opened to-morrow by the chairman of the New Zealand Institute oi Horticulture, Mr. F. I. Nathan, of Palmerston North.
