Robbers Attack Planter SHOT LODGED IN CASE Colombo, January 23. Court proceedings against five men revealed that a spectacle case and pencil riddled with pellets, in the left breast pocket saved the life of a planter named Cantlay who, after being shot by robbers, staggered a mile in the darkness to a bungalow. With his wife he lost nearly £lOOO.
