Glenstar should again take beating m the hurdles, and bis dangerous opponents may be Mangani and Claremore. The Summer Cup will be a good betting race, with Pegaway, Vertigern and Eager Rose the prime fancies. Movie Star and Tea Chat showed speed in the Foal Stakes, and they will be better fancied than Chief Cook in the Criterion Handicap. . Appledore has his chance in the Waitemata Handicap, in which Rosshire ana Pakitere should also be seen to advantfcßirst day’s form suggests Great Star as the favourite for the Electric Handicap, in which Love Song and Leitrim may also have good followings.
