75th ANNIVERSARY

Nelson Boys’ College Dominion Special Service. Nelson, December 11.. The Nelson College Old Boys' Association has decided to hold during Easter of 1931 an Old Boys’ reunion to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the founding of the college, which was opened on April 7, 1856. It is expected that old boys from all parts of New Zealand, and probably even further afield, will attend. A draft programme for consideration and submission to branch associations, was drawn up as follows: — Easter Saturday—Morning, welcome m the assembly hall of the college; group photograph. Afternoon, cricket and tennis matches at the college. Saturday night—Smoke concert and social gathering. Sunday—Morning, church parade. Afternoon, motor drives. Monday night—Ball. ■ Tennis, golf and bowling tournaments are to be held during Easter, and will afford visitors an opportunity of participating.
