RELIEF FUND CONCERT

Among the contributions to. the effort to assist , the unemployed through tlie relief fund organised by the Mayor of Wellington, one of the most welcome Is perhaps the concert which la being presented next Tuesday evening by the Wellington Symphony Orchestra in the Town Hall. It is the more welcome because the regular series of the orchestra’s season has been completed, leaving an unsatisfied appetite for musical perforjmances of the kind.

The orchestra, which is conducted by Mr. Leon de Mauny, will be assisted by Mrs. Wilfred Andrews and Signor Lucien Ceearoni. ..The orchestral numbers will include “William Tell” Overture, the first movement of the Unfinished Symphony, the "Faust” ballet musle, and Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance” march. Mrs. Andrews will sing “Ave Marla” (BachGounod), with Mr. Bernard Page at the organ, and Signor Cesaronl will give “King Solomon’s Mines." Reserves may be booked at the Bristol.
