Wellington’s Decisive Win WAIRARAPA BEATEN Dominion Special Service. Masterton, December 12. Wellington College defeated Wairarapa High School by seven wickets and 98 runs in the annual cricket match, which concluded at Masterton this afternoon. High School completed its first innings, this morning, being dismissed for 144, which gave Wellington College an advantage of 47 runs. Going in to bat again, O’Loughlin, Reynolds, Carlson and Lamason, hit the Wairarapa bowling about, knocking up 119 runs, including 20 fours. Wellington College then declared. Wairarapa High School found the bowling of Meek, Bartlett and Reynolds too tricky in the second innings,, and the side was dismissed for 68, giving the visitors the victory by seven wickets and 98 runs.
