Blenheim, December 12, The Hawke Cup elimination match between Nelson and Marlborough, commenced this morning in ideal weather. The wicket was good, but the outfield was bumpy. Marlborough batted firsthand made a good start, but the tail failed, and the side was all out for 152. Nelson rattled on 284, Neale playing a brilliant innings for 84.
