SCHNEIDER TROPHY

Entry of R.A.F. Urged CLUB MEETS COUNCIL (Rec. December 10, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. Rugby, December 9. No conclusion was reached at yesterday’s conference between the Air Council and the Schneider Trophy Committee of the Royal Aero Club, but the conference is to be resumed next week, and hopes are entertained in the aircraft industry that the Air Ministry may reconsider its decision to take no share in next year’s Schneider Trophy. One of the Aero Club’s chief difficulties would be the assembly and training of a team of civilians as pilots, where the Air Ministry has its highspeed flight in training.
