Presentation of Awards
The annual distribution of certificates and awards gained by students of the Red Cross Society, peacetime division, during the year will take place in the Town Hall this evening at 7.30. The chair will be occupied by the Hon. Dr W. E. Collins, C.M.G., M.L.C., president of the society. The presentation of awards will be dispersed with musical and elocutionary items, which will be provided by members of the Junior Red Cross. In addition will be shown for the first time an inspiring film entitled “The Junior ited Cross in Action.” To those who are interested in the work among our youth this film will appeal. It depicts the ramifications of the work done by members of the Junior Red Cross in the Commonwealth of Australia.
