RAILWAY DANCE
Another successful flannel dance took place at the Railway Workshops Social Hall on Wednesday night. The ordinary dances were interspersed with oldtime dances, which proved a most enjoyable Innovation. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss Williams and Mr. Grefar. During the evening Mr. Ernest Glading sang. The shops’ orchestra was in attendance, Mr. Du Faur the JI.C., and the committee was ns follows: Jlrs. Mills. Jfiss Pearce and Miss Ward, and Jlessrs. Parr, Du Faur, Leopard, O’Shea, McGuire, Hooper, Hale, Graham, Spurr, Robinson, G. Jerson and Wilson. „ , Among those present were: Mcsdames Du Faur, green floral rayon; O’Shea, black georgette; Dudding, black . lace; Leopard, floral ninon; Mills, flame satin; Preston, blue satin and georgette; and the Misses Benge, blue georgette and taffeta; Williams, black crepe-de-chlne; Nattrass. pink floral taffeta; Polnton, white satin; Ward, white rayon; l JI. Nyan, white lace; Cox, black beaded georgette; Pearce, green satin; Wright, lemon taffeta ; M. Jteyrlck, cream rayon; L. Perkinson, figured crepe-de-ehlne: Bolton, black ninon: Mulhane. black erepc-de-chine; V. Corkin, red crepe-de-chi lie: A, Lorkin. green satin; J. Perklnson, blue crepe-de-chine; Ching, blue satin; G. Holmes, black georgette: C. Cropp. floral ninon; B. Partridee, white ninon; M. Adams, white crepe-de-chine: Joyce, black georgette and red lace; and Messrs. Burrell, Phillips McKinnon, Taylor. Bishop, Dudding. Pomfrev. Cox, Hanson, Climie, Purcell, Sharpe. Bolton, Land, C°r kln ’ Ross; Wainscott, Hale, McGuire, O Shea, Parr. lolly and Joyce. Miss Pomfrey played an extra.
