Christmas Time-tables Spacial sailings have beeta arranged for Christmas travellers in the Lyttelton, Nelson and Pioton ferry services. In the Wellington-Lyttelton service, the Maori will make two daylight trips from Wellington, on Tuesday, December 23, and on Wednesday, December 24, while the Wahine will make similar trips from Lyttelton on the same days. The usual nightly trips will also be made, the Maori leaving Wellington on Saturday, December 20, the Wahine on Monday, December 22, Tuesday, December 23, and Wednesday, December 24, the Maori Thursday, December 25. From then onward the usual running-will be resumed. In the Wellington-Nelson service, the Arahura will make one daylight trip from Nelson on Wednesday, December 24, making the sailings for the week from Wellington as follow: Monday, December 22, Matangi; Tuesday, December 23, Arahura; Wednesday, December 24, Arahura and Matangi; Friday, December 26, Matangi; Saturday, December 27, Kaitoa; Sunday;'December 28, Arahura. The Christmas sailings of the Tamahmc from Wellington to Pieton will be Tuesday. December 23, at 3 p.m., and Wednesday, December 24, at 1.15 pan., and again at 11 pan. There will be no sailing on Friday, December 26, but the ordinary summer timetable will be run on other One-day excursions from Wellington to Picton win be made by the Wahine on Friday, December 26, and by the Maori on Thursday, January 1, the vessels leaving Wellington at 8 a.m., and arriving back from Picton about 5.80 p.m.
