BIDDING QUIET
No Buyers at House Auction None of the five suburban house properties offered for sale by public auction by H. Ernest Leighton, Ltd., on Wednesday, was sold, and in no instance was the reserve figure reached by bidders. The residence of Mr. J. Hill, Wairere Road, Western Hutt slopes, was passed in at £5450, bidding having started at £4OOO. A bungalow home of Mr. H. S. Hart, at’ 271 Main Road, Karori, whicli Open’ed With bidding at £lBOO, was passed in at £1875. Three residences at Loweft Hutt were all passed in, as follow, the highest bid being stated in each case:—• Six-roomed bungalow at Lockett Street, Burnside, £2150; six-roomed bungalow at Ludlow Crescent, £2050; Mr. F., N.
