PETONE CLUB ; The Retone Rifle Club tired a further competition-counting for the longfiejd aggregate and second short range handicap seriog at Trgntbam ou Saturday, at ranges 300 and 000 yards. The weather was tine, but when the firing eoinniepoed it was soon seen that ft rear "fishtail”' wind of fair strength was going to cause trouble, and only moderate scores were registered. At 800 yards N. E. Solomon topped the scoring with 45. followed by W. Mclver, J. Hunter, and 15. Ballinger, with 44 each. At 500 yards. T." Warburton (with two “birds”) and W. Mclver, each-got 40. ami were top scorers, with W. Jackson next, 45, E..Ballinger, A. O’ponuelJ, pnd A. Bollinger, 4-4 each.
