' The championship, which consisted of a 21-bird shoot off 18 yards, resulted in a tie between I. G. Watkins (Rangiora) and T. Cloustou (Lauder), who each broke 20 birds. In the shoot-off for a further five birds Watkins secured the possible and annexed the championship.
