QUEEN MARGARET’S

Premises to be. Extended The accommodation at Queen Margaret College is to be extended before next term commences. For some few years the growth of the college has forewarned the board of governors that increased accommodation would soon be necessary to enable the principal to accept the number of girls for whom enrolments are sought The matter was again brought up by the principal, Miss A. I. Wilson, at this ' week’s board meeting, when reporting upon applications received by her for next year. In order to accept these, and also to provide for others that are pending, the board resolved to push on with a scheme for increased accommodation, the plans for which have been under consideration for some time. It is anticipated that when the college reopens next year the work will be completed and the college provided withenough room to carry the normal increase in pupils for some years to come.
