Open from To-day The wireless telephone service between Wellington and Sydney will be opened to the public from one o’clock this afternoon. Shortly before the service is inaugurated a conversation will take place between Sir Apirana Ngata. representing the Government, and the ActingPrime Minister of Australia. Mr. Fenton. Successful tests have been carried out since the talk between London and Wellington a week ago, and the postal authorities are satisfied that, everything is in readiness to open the circuit.
