NEW CHIEF OF STAFF

British Wireless. Rugby, October 30. The Archbishops of Canterbury and York and representatives of the Free Churches have issued jointly a request for prayer on behalf of the Indian Rc-vJ Table Conference. The appointment of Lieutenant-Gen-eral Sir Kenneth Wigram as Chief of the General Staff in India, in succession to Lieutenant-General Sir Cyril Deverell, with effect from March 21, has been approved.
