.Miniature golf is likely to be scon iu Eastbourne, as a request-was before the Borough Council at its meeting on Thursday eevning for the lease-of a section of land adjoining the tennis courts; The mayor. Mr. H. M. Jones,'thought the council should approve the principle. One councillor stated that somebody desired the gymnasium for the same purpose. The mayor: I don’t see how we can let the gymnasium. . . It was decided to refer the matter to the finance committee, with power to act. It was considered that a miniature golf course would be an adjunct to the tennis courts, the buses, and' the boats.
