WOMAN ROBBED

Bag Snatched from Car Another case of bag-snatching occurred a few days ago on one of the Kelburn cable cars. A lady was coming to the city for the purpose of paying several accounts, and in order to put on her gloves placed her handbag on a seat in the car. The car pulled up at one of the usual stopping places, and just as it moved off a male passenger seized the bag and jumped off the moving car in the one act. This left the lady helpless,, as she could not follow her property, and before she could collect herself the car was well under way.
