Yesterday’s Weather
It was a glorious day of practically unbroken sunshine in Wellington yesterday. There was a light breeze from the north. The night was line and clear. Thc'weather at Auckland was dull and showery, and the wind was moderate from the east. The barometer was steady last evening when the reading was 29.60 in. The weather at Christchurch was chiefly dull with a strong cold breeze frorii the north-east. Nine degrees of frost was registered during the night. The maximum temperature was 54 degrees. The barometer was falling, the reading last evening being 29.65. The weather was again very pleasant at Dunedin to-day. over thirteen hours of sunshine being recorded. The wind was fresh from the north-east, the maximum temperature being 44 degrees. The barometer, which fell about thirty points on Wednesda- night, was rising, the reading last evening being 29.70 in,
