It was a glorious day of practically unbroken sunshine in Wellington yesterday. There was a light breeze from the north. The night was line and clear. Thc'weather at Auckland was dull and showery, and the wind was moderate from the east. The barometer was steady last evening when the reading was 29.60 in.
