Light Car Capsizes By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, August 20. While a light car was continuing a record-breaking run from Auckland to Invercargill this morning it skidded in the shingle on the Greta Cutting. North Canterbury, and capsized down a bank. The driver (A. McDonald) was unhurt, but an observer, H. Cuthbertson, was knocked unconscious for twenty minutes. Te recovered later.
